Or perhaps Trailer Park Kings\, or Red Herring\, Canadian Bakin’ or the Remedy.  Or perhaps you’ve been around long enough to have seen his bands No Mas\, or Who Found Who\, or Luv Crunch\, San Prova\, Soldier\, Sussex\, Dick Tracy\, or Storm. In any case\, he will be bringing the totality of this pervasive musical legacy\, distilled down to just one lonely voice and acoustic guitars.\n\nSo kick up a seat\, enjoy award-winning wine\, grab some food from Tacqueria El Tapatio\, tasty ice cream by Scooped Cart and get ready to rock to the sounds of John Comstock!\n\nConcert ground rules:– All Thursday night music series concerts are complimentary.– Attendance is first come\, first serve. We do not take reservations or save tables/chairs/parking.– We encourage carpooling\, as parking is limited. No large RV’s\, boats\, trailers allowed in the parking lot.– Coolers of any type/size are NOT allowed. No outside alcohol. Violators will have alcohol confiscated and asked to leave the event.– A few chairs are available at the venue. Low concert/beach chairs are allowed.– The venue has very little shade. Come prepared for warm/hot evenings.– Food for purchase is available for all music events. Wine (glass or bottle only)\, beer\, soda\, juice\, sparkling water are available for purchase.– Any use of cannabis products or illegal substances is strictly prohibited anywhere on Tipsy Canyon Winery property (including personal vehicles).– We discontinue Wine Tasting service on Thursdays starting at 4:00.– The last call for beverage purchase is 8:30 pm.– Children are allowed if they are supervised and stay with their parents.– Dogs are allowed if they are friendly and are leashed at all times.

Born and raised on a working farm in the remote logging community of Montesano\, Washington\, James’s early life was defined by a strong work ethic and a deep connection to roots music. That ingrained authenticity ultimately became the hallmark of his songwriting. \nIn 2005\, driven by a lifelong pursuit of the craft of songwriting\, James relocated to Nashville\, Tennessee. He quickly caught the attention of Music Row\, signing as a songwriter with the Surefire Music Company. Kevin is a touring musician and has shared stages or opened shows with national acts such as John Hiatt\, Little Feat\, Roseanne Cash\, Jonny Lang\, English Beat\, Bruce Cockburn\, Joan Baez\, Laura Love\, Marc Cohn\, Michael Tomlinson\, & Catie Curtis. \nKevin’s original lyrics are well crafted\, and his guitar playing is innovative and precise. His voice is powerful\, gutsy\, and pure. He plays a variety of different guitars and has an extensive collection of standard and custom built stringed instruments. He uses odd and low tunings to create a huge performance sound. Acoustically\, he uses Sunrise Pickups and Krivo Pickups (and the occasional good condenser microphone).
